YA Library UK Wants YOU to Review YA!

22 Nov

YA Library UK is looking for a few reviewers who love Young Adult literature to review for a new spin-off blog. The goal of this new YA review blog will be to provide information to librarians trying to develop YA collections with breadth and depth. Additionally, the review blog will help produce YA booklists. In time, the new blog may even feature book giveaways (swank!) and book trailers.

If you’re interested in contributing reviews to this new and stunningly awesome review blog, please email me at yalibraryuk@gmail.com with a brief note of interest, a little information about the types of books you’re most and least excited about reviewing, and a short (say, one paragraph) writing sample. In return for any future reviews you write, you’ll receive fame, glamour, and possibly even advanced reading copies of fancy new books!

The new review blog was developed in response to your requests for more booklists!

I would love to review for you. I have just discovered you via Jo’s blog.
I am also a Secondary School Librarian and would like to thank you for your amazing resource for Teen Librarians.
I do like most types of YA, I do not like gore/horror and have a penchant for paranormal romance.
Thanks for the opportunity, you can view my writing style on my blog.

Hi Emma! I’ll send you an email, not just about the review blog, but also about your role as a Secondary School Librarian.
